Using Graphs and Charts in Forms11gR2
- Using FormsGraph with Forms11gR2
Oracle Forms Builder and Oracle Forms Services have been upgraded to simplify the development and deployment of Forms applications on the Web.
A number of features have been added. In restructuring the Oracle Forms product, some legacy features have been dropped or scaled back. The future of Forms includes improving the Java-based Web user interface and extending product “openness” by allowing Java integration on all three tiers. One of the feature removed from Forms11g is about charts and graphics.
The following example shows how to integrate charts and graphics using java bean component.
You can download the Oracle Forms Graph Java Bean Demo here (oracle web-site).
Modify your default.env and formsweb.cfg files to run the demo
- Copy the formsGraph.jar to <oracle_home>/forms/java
- Modify the formsweb.cfg by adding FormsGraph.jar to the archive- tag
I have modified and simplified the code for testing our example
- Choose another graph-type. Click on 3D-Graph button.

Hi Samuel, I have got your demo on Graphs for 11g but its not working on our system. We are running 11g forms and I’ve contacted the admin to check to see if the FormsGraph.jar is in the correct path and if its in the formsweb.cfg. They said it was. I’ve hard coded the Sales Data within form but I get nothing returned.
