How to configure WebUtil in Forms11gRelease2Download jacob-1.14.3 from here
- Copy Jacob.jar to <Oracle_Home>forms\java
- Copy jacob-1.14.3-x64.dll to <Oracle_Home>formswebutil\win64
- Copy jacob-1.14.3-x86.dll to <Oracle_Home>formswebutil\win32
- Modify the archive-tag archive in formsweb.cfg by adding jacob.jar
Run create_webutil_db.sql – script in <Oracle_Home>forms
- create user webutil identifed by webutil
- grant connect, resource to webutil
- connect webutil/webutil
- @<oracle_home>/forms/create_webutil_db.sql
- create public synonym webutil_db for webutil.webutil_db;
- connect sys as sysdba
- grant execute on webutil_db to public;
Run the form – webutil_demo.fmb
Deploy icons in Forms11gR2 Oracle forms11g batch-compile

You need to sign your jacob.jar, so when done successfully a copy of jacob.jar is created as jacob.jar.old in /forms/java
Locate sign_webutil.bat script
Modify some variables in the script:

Please your help will be appreciated. I have sucessfully managed to configure webutil on my local PC running OLE2. The problem is that our forms runs on the Apllication server. Do I have to copy these files on my Oracle homes to the directories on the Application server? This is because I get error “identifier ‘CLIENT_OLE2.OBJ_TYPE’ must be declared” when I tried to compile my form in UNIX. Thanks

I mean, I don’t want to tell you how to run your blog, however suppose you added a title that grabbed people’s attention? I mean is a little vanilla.
